At Twin River Recovery Services, our Buprenorphine Treatment Program provides a proven, evidence-based path to freedom from opioid addiction. This program is part of Twin River Recovert Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, blending medical expertise with compassionate, personalized care for sustainable recovery.
Buprenorphine is a partial opioid agonist medication approved by the FDA to treat opioid use disorder. It works by attaching to the same brain receptors as opioids but activates them only partially — enough to prevent withdrawal and cravings, without producing euphoria or intoxication.
This makes Buprenorphine a safe, controlled, and highly effective option for clients who want to rebuild their lives without relapse or dependency cycles.
Our licensed clinicians conduct a comprehensive assessment to ensure Buprenorphine is right for you. Once approved, treatment begins under medical supervision with careful dosage management and ongoing evaluation.
